Bruno Perez, Outpost Coordinator

Royal Rangers is a mentoring ministry for future men. We provide Christlike character formation and servant leadership development for boys and young men in a highly relational and fun environment.

Mission

Our mission is to evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders.

Based upon the four ways Jesus grew - mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially (Luke 2:52) – Royal Rangers provides the men and boys of the church a purposeful way to reach out in evangelism. We do this by reaching out to boys and young men for Christ, teaching them basic Bible doctrine and principles, and keeping them interested in having a lifelong relationship with Christ. In short, we reach, teach, and keep boys and young men for Christ.

Pre Ranger Kids Ages 3-5 years (Pre-Kindergarten)

The boys in this group follow the Rainbows curriculum from Mpact Ministry called “Noah’s Ark.” It is a group designed exclusively by our outpost to help the boys transition into the Ranger Kids group. Noah’s Ark provides an exciting theme for the Bible stories, crafts, full-color activity pages, and games for this preschool club. The Pre-Ranger Kids are awarded colorful animal badges as they complete requirements for the achievement program.

Ranger Kids begin to learn basic Bible principles in a fun and relative way according to the characteristics, needs, and interests of this grade level. Teamwork, Godly service, and respect are a few principles taught on a weekly basis. Boys are encouraged to achieve their quarterly merits; and ultimately earn the Gold Trail Award, which is the highest award given to a Ranger Kid.

Discovery Rangers:
Boys in this group are beginning to discover more about themselves and the world they live in. It is in this group where the Royal Rangers begin to focus more on hands-on activities that will encourage them to develop a hobby, skill, or trade. The Bible lessons are talking topics in a boys’ development into a teenager. Leadership skills classes are introduced in this group as well. Boys are encouraged to complete every merit required to earn the Gold Eagle Award. This award also requires the boys to learn more about the Bible and lead others to Christ.

Adventure Rangers (Sixth, seventh, and eighth grade),

Boys become young men; and for them an adventure begins in the journey of life! Their Bible merits are filled with topics that pertain to their development into manhood and becoming a man of God. The Gold Medal of Achievement is the highest award given to the Ranger who completes all the required merits from the beginning through the 8th grade. It is a prestigious award in that it requires a lot more out of the young man. All in the benefit of making him one of the best young Christian men a church can have.

Expedition Rangers: High School,Though young men in high school feel like they’re independent, they still need guidance in their expedition of life. It is in this age group where they begin to make more serious decisions about life such as education, a career, or work. Spiritual Challenge merits are Bible topics in every day life and spiritual life. Skill merits in this group are design to help the young man be well rounded in life and explore what a Christian can experience in a daily life without the temptations of the world. These young men are also challenged to complete all of the merits required to earn the Expedition Rangers Achievement Medal.
